This Privacy Policy describes how SpeechMaxx ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you use the SpeechMaxx mobile app and related services.

1. Privacy-First Principle

SpeechMaxx is designed to collect the minimum data needed to operate core app features. We do not sell personal data and we do not use cross-app ad tracking to build advertising profiles.

2. Information We Collect

Account Data

If you use Sign in with Apple, we may receive your Apple identifier and relay email address (if you choose private relay).

Session Data

To provide coaching features, we store items like transcripts, scores, notes, streak/progress data, and session history tied to your account.

Audio Data

Voice features require microphone input. By default, raw audio is processed transiently for transcription/scoring and then discarded. We only retain raw recordings when you explicitly choose to save a recording feature, if available.

Billing Data

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Technical Diagnostics

We may process limited diagnostics (such as app version, device type, and crash logs) to maintain reliability and security.

3. How We Use Data

• operate speaking missions, scoring, and coaching;
• maintain accounts and subscription access;
• improve quality, reliability, and abuse prevention;
• comply with legal obligations.

4. Service Providers

We use trusted processors to run the app (such as cloud infrastructure, model processing, and subscription management). These providers process data only under instructions and safeguards appropriate for their role.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only when needed to provide the Service, fulfill legal obligations, or protect users and platform integrity.

6. Retention

• Account/session data is retained while your account is active, unless you delete it sooner.
• Raw audio is not retained by default after processing.
• If you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize data subject to legal/operational obligations.

7. Your Controls

• Delete sessions and account data from in-app settings (when available) or by contacting support.
• Manage microphone and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
• Manage subscriptions in Apple ID settings.

8. Children

SpeechMaxx is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that personal data from a child under 13 was collected without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

9. International Processing

Depending on where you use the app, your data may be processed in regions outside your jurisdiction with contractual and technical safeguards.

10. Apple and App Store Compliance

This policy is provided to satisfy App Store transparency and legal requirements, including disclosure of subscription and data-handling practices. Nothing here limits rights provided under applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last Updated" date and may also be announced in-app.
